Role description

Fundraising is an essential part of our charity, but more so than ever at present. Can you support us?

Are you up for creating a challenge, organising your own event, or taking part in an organised challenge and fundraising for us at the same time?

What can you do?

You can do whatever you choose to suit your skill set and the free time you have available!

Ideas for a good organiser or wannabe chef:

Hold a coffee morning or bake sale in your place of work or local school.

Host a dinner party challenge with friends. Each friend takes a turn to cook for the others and everyone donates the cost of a restaurant meal out to the charity instead!

Ideas for those who want a fitness challenge:

Check out local events, such as a 10k, half marathon or full marathon.

Set up your own JustGiving page with Give A dog A Bone… and an animal a home as your chosen charity by clicking here, get sharing with your family and friends, and start training!

Ideas for team organisers and players:

Organise a bag pack or bucket collection.

Contact your local supermarket to arrange a suitable date and get your team, or a team of family and friends, together to help pack bags and collect donations!

The list is endless… we’d love to see and hear of your ideas!

**Remember to check with your employer to see if they offer matched funding – it’s a brilliant and easy way to double your charity fundraising.**

  • Increased confidence and sense of purpose.
  • Raises much needed funds for the charity.
  • Meeting new people and building new relationships.
  • Getting fit and a sense of accomplishment.

It’s a win/win!

You will have a named contact from the charity to help with anything additional you might need whilst fundraising.

About us
