Kiltwalk 2021 – Scotland’s Virtual Kiltwalk
Please help us, we are looking for GADAB supporters to sign up to this year’s Kiltwalk!
- YOU decide whether you walk, run, skip or hop
- YOU set your own challenge!
- YOU decide how much you want to raise
Fundraising has been a real challenge during the pandemic but this is one way you can help us.
The beauty of the Kiltwalk is, for every pound you raise, Sir Tom Hunter and the Hunter Foundation will add another 50 pence, it’s FREE money folks!
Registration is just £12 for an adult and £6.50 for a child. Do something with your friends; do something with your family; set yourself a new challenge!
You don’t even need to do your challenge on the Kiltwalk weekend (23-25 April) – it could be a daily challenge from now to then. There really has never been a more flexible fundraiser!
You can find out more and sign up for your own challenge to support Give a Dog a Bone here.
Previous Kiltwalk Events
This event was our biggest fundraiser in 2019 and we were on track for the same, or better, in 2020, but it was postponed due to COVID-19. Lots of fundraising had already taken place, and many individuals were able to continue their challenge from home, adapting their goal to fit in with the lockdown restrictions in place in their area.
A virtual Kiltwalk event took place later in the year, with individuals setting their own challenge to raise money for their chosen charity. Sir Tom Hunter was incredibly generous, topping up donations and providing much needed financial support to the many charities who had suddenly been cut off from their main sources of fundraising.
I would just like to say how much you help me to feed my hounds. If it wasn’t for your very kind help, I would not be able to keep them all! You’re an angel and my hero!! Your help has saved my life – the hounds give me a reason to get up and go out. I’ve met so many people to talk to while walking them all. Once again thank you.
Without Give a Dog a Bone, I would not have been able to find the amazing new family for my little biscon felix, who we had to rehome due to family illness. This charity are also looking into supporting my parents financially with their senior dog and trying to arrange a volunteer dog walker for them!! You are truly an amazing and selfless charity.
