Pet Rehoming Success Stories

Rufus was the very first animal we brought together with a senior! Rescued from a Romanian kill shelter, he was literally on death row. The shelter had stopped feeding the dogs because ‘they’re going to die anyway’. His plight, and that of his companions, truly touched our hearts and we wanted to do something to help.

We promoted Rufus’ story via Facebook and a lovely senior, called Lorraine, stepped forward and offered him a loving home.

Rufus has settled extremely well in his new environment, and you can see the love and gratefulness pour out of his eyes when he looks at his new family…
