Sash’s mum was moving into sheltered accommodation and wasn’t allowed to take him with her. Sash is an older boy of 12, so his mum really wasn’t keen to put him into a rescue centre, for fear he would be passed by for younger dogs. His mum was really very worried as to what to do.
We heard of Sash’s plight and offered to help. Within a very short space of time, someone stepped forward to say they had an elderly friend who was looking for an older dog companion. Sash’s mum was delighted that we had found a suitable home for Sash – she had been so concerned about his future.
This photograph shows Sash smiling in the park – proof that he is a happy boy in his new environment. His mum receives regular photographs, videos and messages updating her of his progress…
