Social Media Competition Terms and Conditions

1. 1. The Promoter: Give a Dog a Bone… and an animal a home, 121 Eastwoodmains Road, Clarkston, Glasgow, G76 7HD
2. 2. The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom (Scotland, England, Wales, and Northern Ireland) aged 18 years or over.
3. 3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
4. 4. How to Enter: To enter the competition please see each individual competition post and follow the instructions.
5. 5. Only one entry will be accepted per person, multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
6. 6. Competition Period: Please see each individual competition for opening and closing dates. Outwith these dates no entries to the competition will be permitted.
7. 7. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason. Proof of sending entry will not be accepted as proof of delivery or receipt of entry. Late, illegible, or incomplete entries will not be accepted.
8. 8. No bulk or third-party entries. If it becomes apparent that either a participant is using any means to circumvent this condition such as, and without limitation, multiple email accounts, multiple reproduced or computer-generated entries, using multiple identities, fraudulently falsifying data, acting fraudulently or dishonestly in the opinion of the Promoter or otherwise acting in violation of these terms, these participants will be disqualified, and any prize entitlement will be void.
9. 9. The Promoter also reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions if circumstances arise outside of its control.
10. 10. The Promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
11. 11. The Prize: Please see each individual competitions for details of specific prize(s). The prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. Prizes are not transferable and are subject to availability. We reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
12. 12. Winners will be chosen at random by number generating software, from all entries received and verified by Promoter and or its agents. Each complete, successful entry will be allocated a number and these numbers will be submitted to number generating software which will pick a random number. This number will correspond to an entrants name and the winner will be notified.
13. 13. The winner will be notified by Direct Message (also known as Private Message) on the same platform through which they entered the competition, within 4 days of the competition closing date. The winner may also be tagged or mentioned in a Social Media post announcing the winning profile name(s), this will always be followed up by the Direct Message outlined previously. The winner will only ever be contacted by Give a Dog a Bone… and an animal a home. If the winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 5 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
14. 14. The Promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected or is delivered. In the event of an electronic/virtual prize, the promoter will notify the winner of how and when the prize can be used.
15. 15. The Promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
16. 16. The winner agrees to the use of their name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants, shared with the Promoter, will be kept secure and used in line with these terms and conditions only unless the entrant has opted into future marketing from the Promoter.
17. 17. The Promoter shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage.
18. 18. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
19. 19. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by Scottish law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland.
