5 Things to Expect when Visiting our Community Space in Alloa

We currently have three community spaces in Shawlands, Troon, and Alloa, Scotland.
Our community space in Alloa is the newest, and largest, of the three. The doors opened for the first time in March 2020, but it had a rocky start due to the pandemic. It is currently open and going from strength to strength. It can be found in a beautiful building on Mar Street, spanning across two floors. There is a stair lift available for assistance from the ground to the first floor for anyone who requires it.

1) A free drink and biscuits for anyone visiting
Anyone can pop in for a free hot drink, water, or diluting juice and a biscuit.
2) Love and cuddles from our companionship dogs
We have a team of wonderful companionship dogs who spend their days in our community spaces so that visitors can meet and spend time with them. We also welcome well-behaved dogs to visit with their owners.

3) A friendly chat with our staff and volunteers
Our staff and volunteers love a good chinwag and are great listeners. If you’d like some company, our community spaces are the place to be!
4) A free individual therapy session if you’re aged over 60
We currently have hand and arm aromatherapy sessions and reflexology sessions available at our community space in Alloa. Anyone over 60 is eligible to sign up to our free services. Just pop in for a cuppa and let a member of the team know that you are interested, and we’ll take it from there.

5) A lovely shop area
We always have a well-stocked shop in our Alloa community space, with items available for humans and animals. Why not pop in and see if we have something you’ve been looking for?
